• What can be treated with Hyaluron filler?

  A hyaluron filler is very well suited to treat nasolabial folds, puppet wrinkles, hollow cheeks, tear duct and chin line. Furthermore, hyaluron is used to build up the chin, to increase the volume of the lips and to rejuvenate the skin on the neck and neckline. Hyaluronic acid is used at Dermacare especially for the so-called vampire lift, where the patient’s own blood plasma is taken and then reinjected into the skin in combination with hyaluronic acid. This smoothes and tightens the skin for a youthful appearance.

• How does hyaluronic acid work?

  The treatment with hyaluronic acid fillers aims at the cushioning effect that the preparation produces when used correctly. In addition, hyaluronic acid binds liquid and causes hydration, the moisture balance of the skin and lips is refreshed in this way, leaving them plump and fresh.

• What do I have to consider BEFORE a treatment with hyaluronic acid?

  Blood-thinning medications such as (e.g. aspirin or ibuprofen) should be discontinued a few days before treatment with hyaluronic acid fillers if possible, as they promote the formation of haematomas (bruises). If haematomas do occur, they will disappear completely after a few days (about 5-7).

  If you have a known tendency to herpes, taking herpes tablets can be useful prophylactically.

• Am I socially acceptable after treatment with a hyaluronic acid filler?

  After the treatment, the skin bulges slightly upwards, which disappears by itself within one or two days. A small, swollen redness may appear at the injection site, which usually disappears within a day. On the lips, the swelling may remain a little longer.

  Although physical rest is recommended, it is still possible to do your daily activities.

• Is the PRP treatment with own plasma painful?

  Before the treatment the scalp is locally anesthetized with a special cream so that the treatment is barely painful. After the treatment the scalp should be cooled.

• What do I have to consider after treatment with my own plasma/PRP?

  Before the treatment you should not take any blood-thinning agents such as aspirin. After the treatment the scalp should be cooled for some time. You are immediately socially acceptable and can go about your work. There is no downtime.

  The scalp can be red for about a day and you can feel a slight pulling sensation for about two days. Washing your hair and extreme physical exertion such as sports, sauna and solarium is not recommended for 24 hours.
