In general, an analgesic cream applied before the vaginal tightening treatment is sufficient. In the case of a known tendency towards an inflammatory disease such as genital herpes or extensive treatment areas, accompanying treatment with medication may be necessary to minimize the risk of inflammation. Rather rarely vaginal or urinary tract infections occur, which then have to be treated with medication if necessary.
